Earlier this year studio archi[lab] completed the design of a stunning apartment located in Apucarana, Brazil. The flat has a total surface of 217 square meters. It was designed to look minimalistic and at the same time sophisticated. The contemporary style is approached here in a very pleasant and enjoyable manner. The spaces are designed in a manner that allows them to maintain their simplicity but also to be very welcoming and comfortable. Like about contemporary homes, the flat features an open floor plan where all the social functions are gathered together. The living room, dining area and kitchen are seamlessly connected.

Although grayness seems to be the predominant colour this doesn't brand the apartment seem dull or monotonous. In that location's actually a variety of different textures and materials that brand upwardly for the lack of color and give the flat a unique identity. Rock, glass and wood are the dominant ones. They complement each other beautifully and are used strategically throughout the spaces.
